This momentous event was reported exclusively by The Times newspaper. 77 years later, the Editor of The Times receives news that these excavations have resumed and asks adventurer Lara Croft to discover if the rumours of more secret chambers and priceless royal treasures are true. Lara must find them before her unscrupulous rivals steal them... In this unique adventure, Lara Croft travels from the archives of The Times offices in London to the Tomb of Tutankhamun in Egypt. Lara must unravel ancient puzzles, overcome traps and defeat supernatural forces from beyond the grave if she is to find her prize before time runs out! |

STORY: The story begins with a visit to the office of Peter Stothard, the Editor of the Times newspaper. He tells Lara that a new tunnel and tomb can be found within Tutankhamun's tomb. In her words, this level gives Lara the chance to "finish what Carter started".
