As of 2026, there has been no full-game VR game released in the Tomb Raider universe. There has been an add-on and short escapade, and even a cancelled game. Read more below.

Rise of the Tomb Raider Blood Ties VR

Releasing as part of the 'Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Years Celebration' in 2016, fans are able to play the new Blood Ties DLC in VR, wandering around Croft Manor as if the very mansion belongs to them. 

Tomb Raider VR: Lara's Escape

Official Description: 'Become Lara Croft in Tomb Raider VR: Lara's Escape, an interactive cinematic VR experience based on the upcoming Tomb Raider movie (March 2018). Pursued by Trinity soldiers, Lara Croft's only means of escape is to descend into an ancient tomb. Use Lara's flashlight to explore crumbling caverns in the dangerous, trap-filled cave. Wield Lara's bow and climbing axe to escape capture as you rappel, climb and zip-line to safety. Tomb Raider, starring Academy-Award winner Alicia Vikander (Jason Bourne, The Danish Girl), coming to theaters March 2018'.

Not much noise was made about this little VR game, titled 'Lara's Escape'. Players are playing through the escape of Himiko's tomb from the movie. Reviews say that this VR game is too short but it's something quirky to try.

Cancelled Tomb Raider Project

Screenshots, concept art and bits of information was released about this VR project in July 2026, six months after the game was cancelled. Lara was planned to visit a new location for the franchise but due to a studio restructure, the project was cancelled.
