Tomb Raider at Valentine's Day
Many know February 14th to be Valentine's Day but Tomb Raider fans know it also as Lara's birthday. It was in early 1997, maybe even very late 1996, that Lara was given a date for her birthday.
The very first public recognition of this was on an officially released calendar that appeared on the official Tomb Raider website, but before the release of 'Tomb Raider 2', Lara's birthday was one of the facts included on the developers' "Style Sheet".

Official Online Calendars - February PagesThe render that was given out in February 1997 had been lost for many years, but in 2017, Tomb-of-Ash had come across it. It is the first image in the 'official renders' below. Both of these calendar pages were preserved by the old fan site 'TR Archives'.
Official RendersOfficial WallpapersThe first wallpaper was released on the official website, 'Lara's World', in 1999, and the second was released in 1999 on the official TR4 website, though we don't think it was released specifically for Valentine's Day, but it works just as good for a Valentine's wallpaper.
Official Valentine's Day CardThis card was sent to certain fans, perhaps those who had fansites. It is dated to 2000 and it appears to link with a Flash file from the time that advertised 'Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation' on the Sega Dreamcast. These images belong to big time fan Chuck Brite.
Official Dreamcast Flash FileThis flash file was not only created to wish fans a happy Valentine's Day but to also promote 'Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation' on the Sega Dreamcast. As you can see above, it contains the same content as the card, but this flash file also has sound. You can download it here. It was seen on the Eidos Interactive (UK) website.
Official Eidos France Flash FileSeen on the Eidos-France website in 2003, this little flash file wishes fans a happy Valentine's day and Lara a happy birthday. You can download it from us by this link.
Web ArtThese images were seen on the official Lara Croft website in 1999 (when it was originally through eidos.co.uk/lara), on a Valentine's page. There was also a contest that asked fans to write a letter to Lara (you can find the link to that at the bottom of this page), as well as a poem from Lara [1]:
Official Greetings From Crystal DynamicsThese were created for Crystal Dynamics by Angela Song.

Created by Jeff Victor for the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider, the emojis/stickers are available for iOS users on the store, but they can also be downloaded from the official TR Flickr.
Other Artwork From Crystal DynamicsThis artwork uses Love Hearts (or Sweetheart Candies) based on phrases from the Tomb Raider franchise, plus there are some other TR related imagery between the sweets.
