Storyboards

In August 2022, concept artist and storyboard designer, Jake Lunt Davies began releasing the storyboards for the cancelled Tomb Raider movie, temporarily known as 'Tomb Raider 2'. So far, he has revealed three scenes, 'Invasion', 'The Chase' and 'Cozumel'. To recap, Lara has just opened a hidden door to reveal some kind of cave temple. Let’s see what she will find inside. Just watch where you put your feet Lara.

Previously on #TombRaider2 Lara had finally entered the Cozumel temple evading traps and revealing hidden doors. Now as she finds a ceremonial knife in the main temple, Unuratu attacks! FYI, that’s a Macuahuitl - a traditional wooden sword embedded with obsidian shards. Nifty.

So last time, Lara was being rushed by a furious looking Unuratu wielding her deadly macuahuitl AND the tomb had been disturbed resulting in a giant stalactite plummeting towards her…real cliffhanger!

Another irregular chapter of this scene from the now dead #TombRaider 2 movie. Previously we were mid fight with Lara and Unuratu. The temple cavern is crumbling, stalactites are falling and Lara has just dropped the knife…
