Enemies

Skeleton
You'll find two sizes of skeletons in the game, normal and large, and they come in several varieties too: normal, fire, frozen and toxic. They are quick moving and fight with swords but they are pretty easy to deal with.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Pyramid of Osiris'

Fire Skeleton
The fire skeletons are the same as the ordinary ones but they are made of fire. They too fight with swords and are fast. Again, any weapon, or even the remote bombs, will be good for these guys. You will encounter the normal version first.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Pyramid of Osiris'
Picture
Toxic Skeleton
The toxic skeletons are the same as the ordinary and fire skeletons but they are made up of a toxic chemical that you can see in a gassy presence around their bones. They fight with swords and leave a trail of toxic fumes.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Ferryman'
Picture
Frozen Skeleton
These guys are fairly easy to defeat with weapons and remote bombs. They have a lovely blue, misty glow around them.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Architect'

Skeleton Archer
The archers can be a bit of a nuisance as they can get the drop on you before you see them, but they don't do that much damage. They use bows to shoot fire or ice bolts, which can track you for a short distance. In the 'Tomb of the Architect', the archers are of the normal, fire and ice type and some will wear armour. If you are hit by either the fire or ice shots, Lara will temporarily be on fire or slightly frozen.

Scarab
As you'd expect in Egypt, those pesky scarabs are an enemy type. They are quick moving but easy to tackle. They can jump and fly too. The large versions will disperse into smaller scarabs, so there are more of them to fight.

Fire Scarab
Just like the ordinary scarabs but full of fire. They leave a trail behind them that can temporarily block your path, or if they jump at you, they can pass on the fire, briefly reducing your health and slowing you down.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Timekeeper'
Picture
Toxic Scarab
Same as the fire scarab but this time they are made of a toxic chemical. It's great to use a fast firing weapon against them to reduce the trail they leave behind. They will also break up into smaller scarabs.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Oracle's Chamber

Shield Skeleton
Somehow the skeletons got smart and brought along a shield. Frontal attacks won't work against them so bring out the remote bombs. They come in two sizes: normal and large. Neither are a trouble though the larger one may require a few more bullets to take it down. The large one can also be of a fire variety.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Silversmith'
Picture
Sobek Minion
These crocodiles have been turned evil by Set. Some fight with spears, but the ones that can be seen swimming in some of the water areas, will need remote bombs to kill them if there isn't land nearby.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Ferryman'
Picture
Toxic Sobek Warrior
These are the larger forms of the crocs swimming in the water and are of the poison variety - their bodies emit a green, gassy substance. They throw bombs and some can even summon lightning bolts, but they are easily killed by shooting them down to the ground. Beware, some of them will require finishing off with a remote bomb.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Ferryman'
Picture
Fire Sobek Warrior
This is the fire variety of the ordinary Warrior. They are made up of fire, and will either fight with lances or throw bombs.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Ferryman'
Picture
Apep
A mini boss fight. This God has been turned against the good by Set, but we're sure you'll find a way to set him straight.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Silversmith'
Picture
Exploding Flaming Mummy
When attacking, these mummies let out a high-pitched scream, and when they have been hit enough, they explode, extruding flames that the player should avoid. This is called their self-destruction attack.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Torturer'
Picture

Pharaoh's Minions
These guys are recognisable by their clothes - they are dressed in traditional Egyptian military garb and seem to have a black mist around them. These fighters come in two forms: swordsman and archer. The archer fires three arrows, and each one will track Lara briefly. The swordsman will also appear as a fire type in the combat challenges.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Architect'
Picture
Guardian
This enemy is much like the large skeletons. When you return to the Shrine of Osiris after completing the first level, 'Pyramid of Osiris', the Guardian jumps up from behind Osiris' plinth, and he carries with him the torso of Osiris. He wears golden armour across his chest and wrists and a golden helmet on his head. He uses a silver baton to fight with. When its life has been depleted, it explodes from the inside.

FIRST APPEARANCE: After completing the level 'Pyramid of Osiris'
Picture
Osiris Puppet
The Osiris Puppet came into existence by Set, as he teased Isis and Horus to seeing Osiris alive once more. It can be seen through the community challenges/Arena Battle Events 'Pulling The Strings' and 'Double Date', in Khepri's Amphitheater. However, as the game is no longer updated, this is one enemy you don't have to worry about anymore.

FIRST APPEARANCE: In 'Khepri's Amphitheater'
Picture
Pharaoh
This unknown pharaoh has been turned against the good guys and now fights for Set in his own tomb. He attacks by stamping his feet to the ground and clapping his hands together to send out a wave of pressure. When he has taken enough bullets, he'll freeze and explode. What a dramatic way to go!

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of the Pharaoh'
Picture
Sobek
Another mini boss fight, Sobek is a large crocodile. You're required to feed him - primarily a diet of bombs and Warriors, and then when he goes belly up, you'll get a chance to strike him yourself. Do this a couple of times and he'll decide that the Canopic Jar he guards isn't worth the pain.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of Sobek'
Picture
Khepri
This mini boss fight has you battling on a large and moving ball. Keep firing and use mines to blast his pinchers when they glow.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Tomb of Khepri'
Picture
Ammit
You don't actually fight Ammit. She appears often in the game and you have to run away from her. Then when she appears in the final boss battle, you just have to keep her away.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 'Pyramid of Osiris'
