Tidbits
1. In original concept art, Unfinished Business is named 'V 1.1'.
2. It is possible to collect the Uzis in the first level of Tomb Raider: Unfinished business ‘Return to Egypt’, however it is positioned in the area behind the finish triggers. It requires a precise jump around the right cat figure. Also beware of the dark sand as these squares are instant death. 3. Rumours of Unfinished Business being in the works were circulating as early as March 1997, with an official announcement from Eidos Interactive on 26th March 1997 for two levels to release in Summer '97. However it was also priced at £39.99, but that also included 'the entire library of high-resolution Lara Croft images, and previewable materials on the much anticipated Tomb Raider 2'. Jeremy Smith wrote to fan sites at the time to clarify that: Unfinished Business would not be sold as Core Design did not feel that the two levels were not value for money; the second level was not quite up to quality; the team were working on creating another two levels however these would only be released if the team felt that they were good enough for the public. |
