Story

The story begins with Lara in the Highlands in Scotland; her helicopter has just dropped her off. She works her way around the ruins to gain access to Willard’s Lair. Once inside, she searches for any evidence on the Hand of Rathmore, a fifth Meteorite artefact. Using a hidden door within the Lair, she comes across mysterious green goo. She exits and returns to her helicopter. 

In a newspaper dated 31st January 2000, there was an explosion in the Channel Tunnel with the same mysterious goo from Willard’s Lair. Lara heads to there to begin exploring. She notices that a familiar company, ‘SLinc’ are working on the repairs, suggesting that Sophia Leigh is now linked to the Hand of Rathmore. Lara searches further and eventually comes across the fifth Meteorite artefact.

Now deciding to investigate why mutated people were being shipped to a closed zoo in France, Lara follows the trail into the French Catacombs, finally coming face to face with Sophia Leigh, an old foe. After evading her attacks, Lara defeats her and reclaims the Hand of Rathmore once again. Lara escapes the catacombs and makes her way onto the beach, where a hot air balloon is landing to collect her.
