Jonah Maiava
Age: 35 Occupation: Former cook From a humble cook on the ill-fated Endurance expedition to Lara's steadfast companion, Jonah has changed since his experiences in Japan. The two years following the tumultuous events have not been kind to him. Returning in something of a tailspin and mourning the loss of his friend and mentor, Roth, he has sought solace at the bottom of a bottle and lost himself in a series of dead-end jobs. His jovial nature prevailed in spite of his circumstances, though, and he now finds stability back in the company of his old friend Lara Croft. Jonah regards Lara as a sister and would do anything to protect her, even when it becomes apparent that she is more than capable of looking after the both of them. Cold, calculating, impatient and intemperate, she wants nothing more than to find the artifact before her illness takes her. Both Lara and Ana are driven by the need to master their own desires, but where Lara seeks to live up to her father's legacy and realise her true potential, Ana desires nothing less than the installation of a new world order of immortal elites with her brother Konstantin at the helm.
