Enemies

Trinity

Trinity is a religious, secret organisation, focusing mainly on the recovery of powerful artefacts using any means necessary. They have been keeping a close eye on Lara Croft for a very long time, and now, they are one step behind her. According to the art book, their armament is spread between their two armed branches: militia and PMC (private military company).

Trinity Soldier - Rifleman
Trinity came prepared this time around - all of their soldiers have armour and extra equipment. The rifleman are happy to ambush Lara if need be.

Trinity Soldier – Shotgunner
As with any shotgun, be it yours or theirs, the wielder will be a powerful foe as one shot can be crippling. Keep your head down, pick your moments, be precise... or if the worst comes to the worst, dodge them.

Trinity Soldier – Grenadier
The grenadier will use throwables - smoke grenades, explosives. He's heavily protected too, so if he throws a smoke grenade, he'll no doubt ambush Lara under as he also has a side arm and a knife.

Cult of Kukulkan

An ancient cult that aims to protect the city of Paititi from outsiders.

Jaguar Warrior
The jaguar warrior are close combat enemies. They will pummel Lara with a Macuahuitl, a bat-like weapon covered in sharp shards of obsidian. Try not to let them get close - try to aim for their heads - but if they do, use a fast firing weapon for the shotgun for a powerful blast.

Eagle Archer
Their primary weapon is the bow, even in close range combat, and they have a good aim too. Sometimes they'll use fire tipped arrows for added damage. Use Lara's scramble to dodge them.

Serpent Guard
The serpent guards will use primarily the Macuahuitl. They are dangerous but can be dodged using the scramble move, but if they do get too near, use a shotgun to keep them at bay.

Other

Local Militia
The local militia are easily recognisable by their lack of armour and uniform. They are the easiest enemy type, using only basic pistols and rifles.

Yaaxil
Almost unhuman, the Yaaxil were created by the Mother Protector to protect the Silver Box of Ix Chel. They are vicious creatures, using their their long claws on their hands to scratch and beat their enemies.
