Enemies

Picture
Solarii Prisoner
The first person you'll meet, who isn't a member of the Endurance, will be a Solarii prisoner at the beginning of the game in the chapter 'So It Begins'. You don't really have to fight this one as there is a quick time event linked to him, but any others are easy to kill as they don't wear armour.
Picture
Solarii Tank - Boris
Boris wears a lot of armour and is pretty tough. You only come across one of this enemy type for the Solarii and it is like a mini boss fight at the Cliffside Bunker in 'Gone Missing'. You have to put enough bullets his way until you get a prompt for an attack, rinse and repeat a few times until the attack is final.
Picture
Solarii Archer
The archer will stand back and fire arrows at Lara. This makes them lethal when you're in the middle of a fire fight with Solarii on the ground. They can also shoot fire arrows too.
Picture
Solarii Sapper
These members of the Scavengers stay behind cover and throw sticks of dynamite, Molotov cocktails and flares. They do this to destroy any cover that Lara is hiding behind and to force her out, as well as to stun her and cause her harm. If the player has a good aim, they can shoot the explosives from the air to save Lara or to hurt them instead, or shoot the Sapper as he is about to throw his weapon. Otherwise, they are easy to kill.
Picture
Solarii Light Soldier
Light Soldiers are the easiest of the enemies to kill, but they are fast movers, charging at Lara with machetes and sickles. They are the first type of the Solarii that the player will encounter. Dodge attacks as well as range attacks are good ways of taking them out.
Picture
Solarii Heavy Soldier
These are heavily armoured from head to foot, so shoot off their armour to make subsequent shots count. They specialise in melee attacks as well as using the Polearm they carry.
Picture
Solarii Rifleman
As the name suggests, these guys fight with their scavenged WWII Submachine Gun, and therefore can strike from close to medium range. Headshots are best against these.
Picture
Solarii Shotgunner
This Solarii uses their shotgun to deliver powerful range attacks. They don't like to use cover that often and are confrontational. Take them out with a headshot, shooting out their knees before attacking or keeping shooting at them to wear them down.
Picture
Solarii Enforcer
They fight with an assault rifle through long-ranged attacks. They are covered in heavy armour, giving them a high amount of health. The player can shoot off pieces of their armour or use the Grenade Launcher to knock them out of cover and do damage at the same time.
Picture
Solarii Guardsman
The Guardsman carries a large riot shield and a lance-style weapon. They are slow movers. If the player has a high skill, they can use dodge kill to take them out, or just use the Dodge Counter and make the most of their slowness.
Picture
Solarii Elite
These Elite Soldiers carry a scavenged Katana and a Compound Bow, which has an accurate shot. They also fight with ranged and melee attacks. Fortunately they aren't heavily armoured so they can be taken out with a headshot, a strong weapon or through attrition.
Picture
Wolf
A familiar creature in the Tomb Raider universe. You have to shoot them, with whatever weapon you choose. Once in a fight with a wolf, they pretty much refuse to leave you alone.
Picture
Oni Archer
You encounter the Oni once you are past a certain part of the game. The archers are just like the Solarii archers, only with more armour.
Picture
Oni Pikeman
The Pikeman carries a round shield and a Naginata- a blade on the end of a lance. They are heavily armoured, but if the player uses the dodge skills, Lara will move around them to damage their armour before she is able to kill them.
Picture
Oni Stalker
The Stalker is a huge, ferocious creature and they often carry a large club, which he has to wield with two hands. They are the toughest of the Oni and are almost twice as tall as the others too. His heavy armour makes him almost immortal, but the thing to note is that his back is uncovered- that is the place to strike. When he charges at Lara, dodge behind him and attack as fast as you can. The damage he can deal with his club can be close to fatal to Lara so stand clear of it.
Picture
Oni Warrior
These tough foes require either their helmets shot off before you can headshot kill them, or you can use dodge counter to reduce them down to a finisher kill. They fight with a Katana and are lethal if left to gang up.
