Characters

Lara is not alone in her travels on this adventure; some faces that she will meet are friendly whilst others are not so much. All will give the player the choice of a new ability; some are mandatory whilst other characters can be declined. When these characters will appear are also random.

Anaya
Anaya appears in the Peruvian set of levels. She is a mandatory character that will give players the choice of two abilities: one is always 'Anaya's Blessing', a health ability to heal 40% of your total HP. The other ability is often the 'Health Boost' ability but can also be something different.

Winston
Lara's loyal butler Winston can often be found randomly, standing behind Anaya. He often offers the player 1 ability to boost either health or damage, but the player will have to watch an advertisement to get the ability.

Werner Von Croy
Von Croy appears in a puff of smoke, with glowing red eyes if you complete a stage without getting hit. He will offer out abilities that may benefit the player, but at the cost of health or attack, but the player doesn't have to watch an ad to gain his abilities.
