Tomb Raider: Underworld - Beneath the Ashes

LOCATION:  (FMV) England - Croft Manor
(Lara is in her father’s study, looking at a file. She is wearing an ear piece with a camera.)
Zip: Hey Lara, why don’t you call it a night? Whatever you’re looking for will still be there tomorrow.
Lara: I somehow doubt it. My father not only claims that this artifact creates thralls, but that he used a word carved into it to control the damn things. It’s hardly something you’d misplace, yet it’s nowhere to be found.
Zip: Maybe he left it in Thailand. What’s the magic word?
Lara: I can’t make it out. (She throws the file on the desk.) Wherever did you put it? (A Knight Thrall climbs up the side from beneath the study, and Lara shoots it to get rid of it.)
Zip: What the hell was that?
Lara: A rather big clue. (She walks to the edge and drops down into a new area.)

LOCATION:  (FMV) England - Croft Manor​
(Lara walks into a small room where an artifact sits on a pedestal. It is glowing. There are several pipes which are flowing water in the room.)
Lara: Are you getting this, Zip?
Zip: I’ve heard of turning water into wine, but slime is a new one. (Lara walks towards it and reads its inscription.)
Lara: Ohk eshivar! (She hears shuffling behind her and quickly turns to see a knight thrall.) Ohk eshivar! (She sees the doppelganger behind him, who starts running towards her.) Kill! (She orders the thrall and it turns. The doppelganger however destroys it. Lara takes out her pistols but the doppelganger is soon in her face.) Ohk eshivar! (The double stands to attention.) You have to do whatever I ask now, correct? (The doppelganger nods. The view changes to look on from a distance as Lara speaks to her double. Then Lara turns and picks up the thrall stone.) Make sure Natla suffers.
Zip: You’re letting her go? She killed Alister!
Lara: And now she is the instrument of his vengeance.

LOCATION: (Cutscene) Arctic Sea - Helheim
(The doppelganger walks towards a dais where Natla is led on the ground.)
Doppelganger: Like your new look.
Natla: There’s too much Lara in you for your own good, slave. Ohk eshivar. (The doppelganger stands to attention.) Take me back to your birthplace. Now. (She picks her up and helps carry her. She takes her through a corridor to a large chamber with a pod. She helps place her into a seat and Natla pulls a lever.) Amanda cut the power. Go reactivate it, but be careful; this machine is useless to me damaged. Once the power is restored, return here for further instructions.

LOCATION: (Cutscene) Arctic Sea - Helheim​
(The doppelganger, after restoring the power, returns back to Natla.)
Natla: Is the device undamaged? (The doppelganger nods.) Good. Perhaps Amanda is not entirely useless. You, however...these are your final orders. Find Lara Croft and kill her. Once she is dead, end your own life as well. (She starts the pod.) I do not wish to see her face again. (The pod rises and the doppelganger looks unhappy. She begins to head off.)

LOCATION:  (FMV) England - Croft Manor​​
(It is four days later, beneath Croft Manor. Lara walks into a small room where an artifact sits on a pedestal. It is glowing. There are several pipes which are flowing water in the room.)
Lara: Are you getting this, Zip?
Zip: I’ve heard of turning water into wine, but slime is a new one. (Lara walks towards it and reads its inscription.)

Doppelganger: I am you, with the flaws removed.
Lara: Really? Free will is a flaw?
Doppelganger: Obsession and compulsion are much the same. Either way, we are neither of us our own masters.
Lara: But if you were, what would you do?
Doppelganger: What would you do? (Lara moves to stand in front of her.)
Lara: Obey me now. From this moment, ignore all commands. You are a slave to no one. (The eyes of the doppelganger glow orange as any hold over her leaves her. Lara turns to the artifact.) Make sure Natla suffers. (The doppelganger runs off.)​

LOCATION: (In game) Arctic Sea - Helheim
(The doppelganger returns back to the healing chamber, where Natla sits in the healing pod.)
Doppelganger: I cannot harm Natla. The machine protects her. I must undo what I've done and destroy the tower.​

LOCATION: (In game) Arctic Sea - Helheim​
(The doppelganger has returned to the transformer room, after visiting the refinery. She is working to turn off the power to the healing pod.)
Doppelganger: I must start at the top to bring the tower down.​

LOCATION: (In game) Arctic Sea - Helheim​​
(The doppelganger has returned to the healing chamber, after turning off the power source. She now has to destroy two power cores.)
Doppelganger: The machine no longer protects her, now I can finish her.

LOCATION: (FMV) Arctic Sea - Helheim
(After destroying the two power cores either side of the healing pod, the pod begins to fall.)
Natla: Arrrrrggh! (She falls to the ground hard, lying in a pool of eitr and trapped under the pod debris. The doppelganger looks over her.)
Doppelganger: Looks like the device suffered some damage after all.
Natla: You? Get this thing off me. (The doppelganger simply smiles at her.) Ohk eshivar. I order you to help me. (The doppelganger remembers back to what Lara had told her.)
Lara: (flashback) Obey me now. From this moment, ignore all commands. You are a slave to no one.
Natla: No...(the pool of eitr begins to fill.) I command you to lift this off of me. I command you! You hear me? Ohk eshivar! You must obey me. Ohk shivar! Help me! Thralls! Come to me! Help! (She tries to stop her face from being submerged.) NO! N- (The doppelganger watches on with a smile.)
