Following an argument with Jonah, Lara takes a year out to get away from Trinity to focus on other things. However, she goes from being the hunter to being hunted by Trinity.

In issue #1, Lara left him a voice mail message explaining why she was going after Trinity. In issue #2, she visited him at his chip shop 'Live and Let Fry'. She had taken him to Thailand where they came across the 'Temple of the Buddha Receiving', however she chose not to tell him that she was following Trinity. He refused to watch her go down a path of self destruction and left her alone.

Artefacts:

Cross of Stars
Discovered by a Trinity soldier in a hidden cathedral in Corniglia, Cinque Terre, in Italy. The soldier said that it was carved by Saint Christopher by hand and it whispers the location of God. Lara Croft told him that the artefact is a legend, a "well-established hoax". When the soldier killed himself, Lara placed the artefact on top of the sarcophagus that the soldier had prised it from.

Baddies:

The Cardinal
​The leader of Trinity. It was him who had shot Lara's father, Richard.

​The usual bad guys with an endless supply of mercenaries. Ran by a leader known as the Cardinal.

Nonna
Whilst Lara was exploring in Italy, she stayed with an elder lady, who she called 'Nonna'.

Dave
Dave is a local to the chip shop 'Live and Let Fry'. Jonah called him 'Codger Dave', like the term given to an older male.

Cemetery Visitor
This lady was visiting graves in a cemetery, in Najaf, Iraq, when Lara encountered her. Lara called her 'grandmother' in Arabic.

Private Luna
Worked as a soldier for Trinity, however when they followed Lara Croft to Egypt and he missed the shot, the lead soldier said that if he hadn't of missed the shot, he would have had him sniper decertified. He died not long after when he stepped on a pressure plate and was impaled by spikes.

Richard Croft
Appears in flashbacks, Lara remembered what he taught her when she revisited their secret place, the 'Monastery of Akhenaten' in Egypt.
