Lara's Parents
It seems that even though they had disowned their daughter after her choice of lifestyle, they hadn't given up caring for her. When a memorial service was held days after Lara's disappearance, her parents attended to mourn and lay a wreath of flowers at her statue.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Intro FMV
Picture
Winston
After Lara's disappearance in Egypt, Winston attends a memorial service for her. Back at Croft Manor, he, alongside some friends, reminisce about Lara's adventures. He had known her since she was a young girl, where she would stay with him and his wife in Connuisse, in Ireland.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Intro FMV
Picture
Father Patrick Dunstan
After Lara's disappearance in Egypt, it was probably Father Dunstan who conducted the memorial service in honour. He is a friend to the Croft family, and back at Croft Manor, he reminisces how Lara once snuck away from Winston so that she could join him on a nearby island in Ireland to investigate some strange lights.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Intro FMV

Picture
Charles Kane
Charles Kane taught Lara at Gordonstoun, and had since kept in touch with her. He attended the memorial service held for her and then joined Winston and Father Dunstan at Croft Manor to listen to stories of her adventures. He recalled the story of him helping Lara in discovering the Spear of Destiny in Russia in 1998.

FIRST APPEARANCE: FMV after selecting 'New Game' on the main menu.
Picture
Larson
Larson didn't have the best luck in this adventure; he seems more unintelligent here than he did in 1996. He teamed up with Pierre DuPont in Rome as they searched for the Philosopher's Stone. He agreed to Pierre's plan of letting Lara do all the leg work - at no extra effort - however he attempted to take charge, which didn't work out well. He was shot down by Lara and then tossed around by the Gate Guardians. He must have somehow survived because Lara will meet him again in Calcutta, India in 1996, in search for a piece of the Scion.

FIRST APPEARANCE: FMV after selecting 'New Game' on the main menu.
Picture
Pierre
A familiar foe, even to Lara who was in the process of buying the Mercury Stone from himself and Larson. He was trying to con Lara, even standing back and letting Lara find the rest of the necessary items needed, however this didn't go too well for him as Lara used his own tricks against him, letting him fall down a deep pit. This Roman adventure took place in 1995 and he somehow survived the fall to be hired by Jacqueline Natla in 1996.

FIRST APPEARANCE: FMV after selecting 'New Game' on the main menu.

Admiral Yarofev
An Admiral of the Russian Imperial Navy, Yarofev had no intention on searching for mystic artifacts however when the Russian mafia came along, he was left with no choice but to remain on board to help protect his submarine and its crew. After Mikhailov's carelessness with the Spear, the submarine became severely damaged, taking on a dangerous amount of water and beginning to sink; however Yarofev refused to leave the sub, even after Lara's pleas. He helped her to escape in return that she told his story.

FIRST APPEARANCE: The first cutscene in the level 'The Base', in the Russia level set.
Picture
Sergei Mikhailov
Part of the Russian Mafia, Sergei takes charge of Admiral Yarofev's submarine, using its resources to find the Spear of Destiny. Of course, as all us Tomb Raiders know, "Disrespect is the route to carelessness". When Lara handed over the Spear, the artefact reacted negatively, thus killing him.

FIRST APPEARANCE: The first cutscene in the level 'The Base', in the Russia level set.
Picture
Kruschev
A grunt for Admiral Yarofev. He helps to load up the submarine. Lara has a run in with him and his identical goon.

FIRST APPEARANCE: The first cutscene in the level 'The Base', in the Russia level set.
Picture
Hanged Man
Nothing is known of this tormented soul but he does quote the Norse dragon 'Nidhogg', which might help date his existence. Lara came across him in 1984, where he asked her to help find his heart, which was hidden in the roots of the World Tree, in exchange for a reward.

FIRST APPEARANCE: A cutscene in the level 'Gallows Tree', in the Ireland level set.

Picture
Zip
When Lara infiltrates Von Croy Industries, she relies on Zip, an ex-employee, to help her find her away the building. Zip is tech-smart and knows exactly where all the cameras are and what sort of weapons are in creation at VCI.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Intro FMV into the VCI level set.
Picture
VCI Worker
Not much to say. These guys work for Von Croy and seem to be wearing a form of a hazardous suit. They can be made to help Lara at one point to open a door, but most of them simply want to be left alone. However, if you are collecting all secrets, you will have to kill a certain one.

FIRST APPEARANCE: 13th Floor
Picture
Von Croy Sr
When Werner was recovering after his injury in Cambodia, Von Croy Sr helped him in running their family business, VCI. He seems disappointed that Werner's past had come back to haunt him.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Cutscene between the levels 'Escape with the Iris' and 'Red Alert!'
Picture
Werner Von Croy
Was once a mentor to Lara when she was 16 on her first archaeological expedition, however Von Croy was jealous of Lara's efficiency in discovering the Iris artefact and he turned aggressive, which was his downfall. After the events of Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, his attitude to Lara changed and he spent his time trying to find her.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Final FMV of the game
