Eidos Interactive's Webhunt Competition
To celebrate the release of Tomb Raider Chronicles, Eidos Interactive ran a competition from the 23 November 2000 until the 2nd January 2001. It involved searching specific websites for a secret webpage and on that page would be a password. To know which websites to search, Eidos gave four clues: four websites to find four passwords. In the words of Eidos "In the spirit of Tomb Raider, we’re sending you off on a treasure hunt! Or, more precisely, a Webhunt!!" Those passwords then had to be entered at a specific Competition site.
The prizes were as follows:

"I could hardly believe it when Father Dunstan said he was going to the island that night. Winston tried to stop him because of the storm, but he said he had to get over there straight away. I grabbed a torch, quickly jumped out of my window and ran down to his boat. I hid under a tarpaulin and made up my mind to sort things out myself. It seemed like forever before I felt a bump and the boat mooring on the island. I waited and waited until I was sure he was gone and then I started climbing a hill in front of the boat. When I reached the top I saw him opening a secret passage in the rock. I followed him carefully so that he wouldn't see me..."
