Other : Italian singer Eugenio Finardi Dedicated a Song to Lara

Italian singer Eugenio Finardi dedicated a song to Lara called ‘Amami Lara’ (Love me Lara). He sung the song at the 49th 'Festival della Canzone Italiana’ (Festival of the Italian Song) in Sanremo some time between Thursday 23th to Monday 27th February 1999.

In an interview, Finardi described the song as “It’s the story of the relation of a lone man with this virtual heroine, which, in this age of no-relations, gains more class than a real woman. I find Lara more real than many artificial women and showgirls seen in TV.”
