- The official Tomb Raider website gave the first look at the new Lara Croft, however this Lara wasn't quite the design that we received in the completed game. Here, she carries flares upon her backpack's straps; her hair is not a loose ponytail but instead a plait; she carries smoke grenades too. Lara's face is different also.

- Lara can be seen using a rocket launcher in early footage. This weapon never made it into the finished game.
