Lara has been sent to Morocco by Werner von Croy to search for an Obscura painting, only for her to discover that he has had some involvement in the adversity that she has just fought her way through. This three-part story is loosely based on the video game, Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.

The Obscura Paintings
Five paintings that when reunited will allow Eckhardt to awaken the Sleeper. Lara was asked by Werner Von Croy to find this particular painting in Morocco, in exchange for a necklace, the Opal of Nepal.

Periapt Shards
​Also called the Periapt Amulet by Mr Rouzic, these pieces are needed to put a stop to Eckhardt's plan. Kurtis has these fragments in his possession.

​The leader of the organisation, The Cabal, Eckhardt wants to resurrect the Sleeper to help him take control over the world. He is part Nephilim and every now and then, he has to dilute his blood with human blood to stop the Nephilim from taking over his form.

A collection of powerful people who have brought into the idea of living for eternity in return to helping Pieter Van Eckhardt find the five Obscura Paintings. Also part of the Cabal were Werner Von Croy and Mr Rouzic. Sadly for them, they were just pawns in his plans and he had them killed in a house explosion.

'The Angel of Darkness', or also known as the Nephilim, an extinct race. Only the Periapt Amulet (or shards of it) will kill it.

Once a friend of Lara, in fact, Lara considered him her mentor, almost a second father to her, but he was swayed by the dream of living forever by Pieter Van Eckhardt, that he has chosen to betray Lara once again.

A friend and possible love interest of Von Croy, she aided him in his search for the Obscura Paintings. When Lara and Kurtis catch up with her, she doesn't take the news of his death too well, but she helps them.

A member of the Cabal. He questioned Eckhardt but was ultimately killed by him.
