Spirit Walker
Lara Croft is trying to enjoy her holiday after the ordeal in New Guinea but an ‘enemy’ helicopter interrupts. Lara prepares to fight, only to discover that a Mr Aulgood wishes to make her acquaintance; he wants her to search for an artefact known as the Spirit Walker.
Allies:
Wally MacAlister
Lara Croft first met Wally in a pub in Adelaide, on her first trip to Australia when she was 20 years old. She saw him as a big brother. Together, they have explored the Great Barrier Reef, the Outback and climbed the Red Rock. Lara called him while in Hawaii and asked him to bring weapons and equipment for when they are to meet at Sydney airport. He aided her in breaking into Aulgood Industries to see what J. Bradley Aulgood wanted with the artefact, the Spirit Walker. After he was shot in the leg, Lara agreed to leave him behind and once her business was finished, she and Wally would return with the Aborigine, John Dawn to celebrate the return of the amulet, Spirit Walker. |
Artefacts:
The Spirit Walker
An ancient Aborigine artefact said to be five thousand years old, which allows the bearer to swap bodies with another person. Both people need to have an open wound for the power to transfer. It was stolen by Captain James Cardiff in 1793 to be taken back to England however, on the voyage, a violent storm caused the HMS Griffin to crash on a rocky New Zealand coast. After the crew turned against him, he hid the Spirit Walker before he was killed. It was found once again after Lara Croft used the journal of the first mate, Daniel Sweetman. She was hired by J. Bradley Aulgood to collect it in good faith that he would return it back to the Aborigine people however as she found it, his mercenaries, Hollister, Mr Gearing and Mr Fields turned against her and they took it and met up with J. Bradley Aulgood in Sydney, Australia. Aulgood tried to use the power to swap bodies with his young nephew, Jason Aulgood so that he could live a while longer, however, Lara and her friend Wally MacAlister broke into Aulgood Industries and reversed the spell, then giving the item back to John Dawn, the Aborigine captive where he hid it, where no man was to find it again. |
Baddies:
J. Bradley Aulgood
One of the wealthiest men on earth and the head of Aulgood Industries. Lara Croft first meets him when he interrupts her holiday. When they reach his manor in Honolulu, Aulgood tells her that he had business deals with her father. He also explains that he ended up in a wheelchair after a priest shot him, thinking that he was evil reincarnated. He has one surviving relative, Jason Aulgood. He asks Lara to search for the Spirit Walker for he wants to return it back to the Aborigine people as a gesture of goodwill. Lara later discovers that this is not the case as he tries to use it to swap bodies with his young nephew, so that he could have a young and healthy body. |
Enemies:
Hollister
J. Bradley Aulgood's right hand man and has worked for him for over a decade. Aulgood sent him along with Lara Croft and his two operatives, Mr Fields and Mr Gearing to search for the Aborigine artefact, the Spirit Walker. As soon as Lara found it, he and the rest of Aulgood's men turn on her, stealing the artefact from her and leaving her to die. He was surprised to hear that Lara was still alive when she broke into Aulgood Industries in Sydney, Australia. He helped Aulgood to swap bodies with his nephew Jason Aulgood but Lara killed him. |
