Lara Croft is in a tomb in Eastern Malaysia searching for a golden idol when she receives a phone call from a good friend, Wally MacAlister with a warning, but he is killed by an old foe. This puts her off this particular treasure hunt, leaving her feeling weakened. She decides to head to Cambodia to visit a legendary trainer to prepare herself for a future battle.

Golden Idol
It was created by ancient shamanists to balance the forces of good and evil. It was also believed that the idol could never be touched by human hands. Lara travelled to Eastern Malaysia to collect this artefact, however when she heard that there was a hit on her and that her friend, Wally, was killed whilst talking to her, she no longer wanted to collect it. It remains hidden away in a temple.
