Lara Croft and Chase Carver travel to Tibet in search of Shangri-La. However Lara finds herself taken there and is told that no one is allowed to leave. Whilst trying to escape, Lara comes face to face with a familiar foe, the Yeti.

​Chase helped Lara to hijack a helicopter in order to find Shangri-La in the Himalayas. When she went solo, he was able to find her through a satellite tracker, and he took her old nanny, Mrs Baker, to Shangri-La to be healed. He also dyed his hair to help them blend in for the job.

​​A pilot in the Himalayas, and was meant to be testing one of the new helicopters. However he was knocked unconscious and tied up in the locker room when Lara Croft and Chase Carver impersonated the pilots. They wanted to take the helicopters to help them find Shangri-La.

​The leader of the citizens in Shangri-La; she showed Lara Croft around the city. She allowed Lara to leave and told her that she would look after her old nanny, Mrs Baker, who was injured when Lara and Chase Carver took her to the city.

Lara Croft's nanny when she was a child; Lara saw her as a mother when her biological mother died. Unfortunately, the nanny was hit by a delivery vehicle and was now weak. Lara and Chase had taken her to Shangri-La in a hope to make her better. Strangely, the comic names her as Mrs Baker​ firstly and then Mrs Dennison on the next page.
