Lara and her friend, Byron Owen visit County Offaly in Ireland as Lara is interested in finding the Dolmen Emerald. When they come across the caretaker of the haunted castle in a pub, Byron starts to get second thoughts about travelling with Lara. His doubts become reality and Lara is left to unravel the mystery of Lotte Castle and the Dolmen Emerald.

Byron Owen
(? - 2004) A friend of Lara's, he agreed to aide her as she visited Lotte Castle, the most haunted castle in Ireland, to search for the Dolmen Emerald. He didn't spend long in the castle and was quickly driven crazy by the sightings. He tried to escape through the front door, clawing at it and causing his fingers to bleed. The vibrations of his actions dislodged a stone figure up above which fell on top of him, killing him. |

Dolmen Emerald
It is the source of 'Tir Na Nog', the realm of eternal youth and it grants the bearer immortality. It was found by Lara in Lotte Castle, County Offaly in Ireland. It also had the power of trapping the ghosts of the castle within the walls, forcing them to go on for eternity. Ian O'Conner tried keeping it in his possession to stay immortal but Lara stole it from him and gave it to the Elemental, which reversed the power of immortality and freed all the trapped souls. |

A ghostly apparition that seeks the Dolmen Emerald, killing all those who try to use its powers for their own purpose. |

Ian O’Connor
(? - 2004) Ian had been immortal since 1563 when he killed his brother and kept the Dolmen Emerald for himself. He, along with the castle caretaker, Dunleavy, tortured people in order for O'Connor to stay youthful. Lara Croft eventually killed him as she handed the Dolmen Emerald to the Elemental, thus removing the curse of immortality for O'Connor and for the spirits who had been kept within the castle walls. |

Dunleavy
He was the caretaker of Lotte Castle. When he met Lara in the Bore's Head pub, he took her and her friend Byron Owen to visit the castle. His true colours was shown however when he attacked Lara after she discovered the Dolmen Emerald but she defeated him temporarily. They met again when Lara fell into an underground chamber and met Ian O'Connor. He worked for O'Connor to keep the Emerald in the castle. Dunleavy is driven crazy when the Elemental attacks him. He remains in the castle. |

Priest O'Connor
(? - 1563) Brother to Ian O'Conner, he was killed in 1563 when Ian wanted to keep the Dolmen Emerald for himself. His soul was trapped at Lotte Castle until Lara gave the emerald to the Elemental, and thus lifting the curse of immortality. |

Little Girl
There is little known about this girl, apart from the fact that her soul was trapped at Lotte Castle when she was killed in order to keep Ian O'Connor immortal. She was freed when Lara found and gave the Dolmen Emerald to the Elemental. |
