Lord Avram Vymes
Previously, Lord Vymes had sent out some henchmen to approach Lara Croft to commission her to steal eastern artefacts from the British Museum and from private collections. Lara had declined but hours later, his own private museum was broken into and several items were stolen. He put the blame on Lara as the thief looked like her, however Lara later told his henchmen that there were lookalikes and that she would find out who robbed him and retrieve his items, all for an apology and two million pounds. In issue #24, as Lara hadn’t return his stolen items for him as agreed, he followed her and Tsang to the Aegean Sea, where he sent out killer hagfish and a large sea creature to kill them. |
