Baddies:

General Alvarado / Don Alvaro
​Living in a ranch in Guatemala, Don Alvaro changed his name from General Alvarado when he became hunted for the murder of thousands of locals. He claims that he is now a businessman, and has hired Lara to help him look for gold. He invited Lara to Guatemala for unknown reasons but when Lara found a huge cache of gold, he made his intentions known to her.

These are general thugs, working for Don Alvaro.

Conquistadores
These ancient beings live underground and suffer from a disease of the heart that can only be cured by gold. They enslaved locals to search for gold for them, using violence to keep them in line.
